This page explains how Rai handles your personal data. "Rai" refers to RAI CONSULTANTS L.L.C., based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. If you have a question about anything below, email us at contact@raiofficial.com.
What we collect
We only collect what you give us and what we need to run the site:
- Contact details: when you fill in the contact form we collect your name, email, company, and message.
- Usage data: aggregated, anonymised statistics about how the site is used, via Google Analytics, and only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Job applications: if you apply to work with us, we collect your name, email, the links you share (such as LinkedIn or a portfolio), your CV, and anything you write in your cover letter.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and follow up on a possible project.
- To assess your application and contact you about roles, now or in future.
- To understand what's useful to visitors and improve the site.
We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or send you marketing you didn't ask for.
Our legal basis
We process contact-form data because you asked us to get in touch. We process application data because you asked us to consider you for a role. We process analytics data on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (see "Cookies & analytics" below). We comply with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where it applies to visitors from other regions, the GDPR.
Cookies & analytics
The site loads no analytics cookies before you agree. On your first visit, we ask. If you accept, we load Google Analytics to help us measure how the site is used; if you decline, we don't. Only the essential cookies needed for the site to work may be used without consent.
You can change your mind at any time via cookie preferences.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who only process data on our behalf:
- Vercel: hosts the site and delivers form submissions.
- Resend: delivers contact-form messages and job applications to our inbox.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: silently checks that a form is being submitted by a person rather than a bot, which keeps automated spam off our forms. See Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
- Google Analytics: measures site usage (with your consent only).
- Google Workspace: to receive and reply to your messages, and to store applications.
We don't share your data with anyone else, and no third party is permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Job applications
If you apply for a role, or introduce yourself before one exists, we use what you send us only to consider you for work at Rai. Applications arrive by email and stay in our inbox; we don't use recruitment platforms or share applications with anyone outside the founders.
We keep applications for up to 12 months, so we can come back to you when the right role opens, then delete them. If you'd like yours deleted sooner, email us and we'll do it within 30 days.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form messages for as long as needed to reply and follow up on a possible project, then delete them. Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. Job applications are kept for up to 12 months (see "Job applications" above).
Your rights
At any time you can ask to see your data, correct it, delete it, or withdraw your consent to analytics. Email contact@raiofficial.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can raise a concern with the UAE Data Office, the federal data protection authority.
International transfers
Some of our providers may store or process data outside the UAE, including in the United States. When that happens, we rely on our providers' standard contractual safeguards to ensure your data is protected to a comparable standard.
Children
Our services are aimed at businesses, and our roles at working professionals. We don't knowingly collect personal data from children.
Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the "last updated" date above when we do.
